The Cutting Fruit Puzzle from Classic World features realistic images and is innovatively designed with touch fasteners that can be easily cut by the included wooden knife. The pretend food can also be added to a play kitchen for lots more fun!
The fruit shapes included are apple, lemon, pear, orange, kiwifruit, strawberry, pineapple, peach and watermelon. The chunky puzzle pieces feature the fruit sliced open, while the inset picture on the puzzle board shows how it looks when whole.
Learning outcomes: Helps children learn to name and identify the fruit, as they remove and match them back to the images on the board; puzzles help build hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, while also encouraging problem-solving and discovery. Safe knife/cutting skills can also be taught through this set, which includes a pretend knife.
