Magic Rabbit is a plush Ili Pika, inspired by the rare creature discovered in the Tianshan mountain range in 1983.
His story begins alongside a curious moment in pop culture, when a pixelated twin began bounding across Tokyo screens. With long, perky ears and alpine charm, the resemblance was uncanny.
Some say it’s just a coincidence. Others believe the magic of the mountains slipped into the circuitry and lives on in stitched form today.
