Inspired by the real Canadian black bear who won hearts at the London Zoo in 1924, Winnipeg is a plush Manitoba bear with roots in Ontario. Her name pays homage to her prairie hometown, while her journey is one of charm, and childhood wonder.
Originally purchased at a railway stop in Ontario, she became a beloved companion to young Christopher, who named his own teddy “Winnie” in her honour.
This plush celebrates her legacy as the bear behind one of the most treasured tales of all time.
